"One Last Letter" Captures the Pain of Letting Go for D’Arcy
D'Arcy has built her sound on layers, on electronica and alt-rock edges, and on a near-goth darkness that keeps you at a certain distance. One Last Letter has none of that. She wrote it in five minutes on two hours of sleep, and it came out acoustic, bare, and almost confrontational in how little it hides.
