From the outside, modeling can look effortless. Perfect lighting, flawless styling, and carefully composed images create a world that feels almost cinematic. But for Corrie Yee, the reality behind those moments is built on discipline.
The Los Angeles–based model and creator has spent years building a career that blends fashion, wellness, and creative expression. With more than two million followers on Instagram and editorial appearances in such publications as Glamour, Maxim, and Playboy, Yee has developed a presence that feels both glamorous and intentional. Yet the foundation of that image is something far less visible: routine.

“Wellness is really the foundation for everything I do,” she says. “When I stay consistent with fitness and routine, it helps me stay focused and show up fully for my work.”
Yee’s daily life reflects that philosophy. When she’s not on set or traveling for shoots, much of her time revolves around health and movement. Pilates studios, strength training sessions, yoga classes, saunas, and cold plunges are regular parts of her schedule. It’s less about aesthetics and more about energy.
“I genuinely love the wellness lifestyle,” she explains. “It’s where I feel the most grounded.”
That sense of structure has helped Yee navigate an industry that can often feel chaotic. Modeling and social media both move at a relentless pace, where trends rise and disappear almost overnight. Staying grounded, she says, comes from keeping her eye on long-term growth rather than short-term visibility.
“I try to build things that last,” she says. “That mindset changes the way you approach opportunities.”
Yee’s perspective on creativity also comes from an unexpected place: the art studio. Before fully committing to modeling, she studied fine arts at New Mexico State University, focusing on ceramics and painting. That background still shapes the way she approaches photography today.

“There are so many moving parts in creating an image,” she says. “Styling, lighting, the environment, the mood. My art background helps me see how all of those elements come together visually.”
Yee approaches her work with a clear sense of the story being told, whether it’s a photoshoot or digital content. In her view, fashion is a form of visual storytelling.
“It’s a language,” she says. “You can communicate emotion, identity, and personality without saying a word.”
That balance between creativity and discipline has also influenced how Yee chooses collaborations. As such, she’s becoming increasingly selective about the brands she works with.
“The partnerships have to feel authentic,” she says. “If something doesn’t align with where I’m going long-term, it’s not the right fit.”

Looking ahead, Yee sees her career evolving beyond modeling alone. Like many of the women she admires, figures such as Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, and Miranda Kerr, she’s interested in building businesses that extend beyond the camera.
For now, Yee remains focused on continuing to grow her presence across the fashion, wellness, and lifestyle spaces. But even as opportunities expand, the philosophy guiding her career remains simple.
“Consistency and discipline,” she says. “Those are the things that make everything else possible.”
In a world built on fleeting moments, Corrie Yee is choosing a different path, one built on intention, structure, and the quiet power of showing up every day.
