“Without Peace” is the first single in a series of upcoming releases that will culminate in a new EP. In partnership with Sony’s development team and his new distributor MusicTeam, Jakke will release the project in immersive audio formats, including Dolby Atmos and Sony 360 Reality Audio, ushering in a new dimension of listening.
Jakke, born Jake Goble, made a name for himself in LA’s indie scene as the force behind the project Enjune. Known for his immersive live shows, he shared stages with acts like Cody Lovaas, Grizfolk, and Royal & The Serpent, backed by a rotating cast of some of LA’s top musicians.
Raised on a mix of punk bands and jam sessions, Goble gradually expanded his musical palette while working in event production and artist relations, collaborating behind the scenes with electronic music giants like Tiësto, Skrillex, Damian Marley, and GRiZ.
When the pandemic hit, he reinvented himself. The result was Jakke, a project that fuses alternative house, Afro house, and breakbeat with electric guitars, deep vocals, and a live performance ethos that blurs the line between DJing, live instrumentation, and hybrid production.
Jakke’s music is poised to resonate far and wide, thanks to his rare ability to turn songs into deeply connective moments. “Without Peace” is something to listen to and to feel.
