Sink In Turn Their “Cabin Fever” in a Powerful Rock Anthem Against Quittin’

Rags-to-riches and plucky underdog stories abound in the world of music and entertainment, but there’s always something intensely special about musicians who grind it out old-school by touring the clubs and dives, scraping by under grueling conditions where the band members get as intimate with each other as they get with the inside of their van or bus. “Sink In” is the archetypal version of that band, and the way they’ve relentlessly fought for everything they’ve achieved so far is reason alone to believe in them.

Around 2015, the "DIY" pop-rock band embarked on the road, tirelessly touring one-night gigs despite not having any prior music releases. However, their hard work paid off when they emerged with their EP titled "Wide Eyes". Through their fully independent efforts, the EP remarkably sold over 1,000 copies. The following year brought even more success as Sink In secured their first label deal. With this newfound support, they released their debut album, "Ordinary People, Extraordinary Things", which quickly climbed to the #1 spot on Billboard's Heatseekers Northeast chart within its first week. Sink In's journey from humble beginnings to chart-topping success is a testament to their unwavering passion and undeniable talent.

That was back then. Where’s the band today? Well, they’re fresh off their latest release, the self-biographical “Cabin Fever” which wastes no time in kicking your ass with its caustic opening groovy riff.

“In 2020 when the pandemic hit we were out on the road touring. We had a few dates left that had been canceled and as a result, we were stranded in New Mexico when the world shut down. ‘Cabin Fever’ is our response track to our touring schedule hitting a brick wall. Being locked inside and away from what we love was driving all of us crazy. We would spend way too much time on our phones or consuming media stories…”

– About ‘Cabin Fever’

In its high, borderline-metal intensity “Cabin Fever” constructs a haunting narrative, it takes the boredom and anxiety to turn them into a fierce affliction that consumes the soul, trapping it within the suffocating confines of isolation. Restlessness breeds torment, as the mind descends into a maddening abyss, plagued by confinement. No escape, no respite. Only the terrifying echoes of this claustrophobic existence… Only, it’s not all so grim, is it?

“...The song makes the promise that one day it would all come to an end and we’d be back chasing our dreams. “

Sink In proves their dedication through every note of this powerful and infectious song. Don't miss out on experiencing their badass music for yourself.
