— Listening Party: Tortoise "Touch" at Sweat Records. Attendees can enjoy the album on vinyl one week early, and a full 3 weeks before it’s available on streaming!
— The Masque of the Red Death and Edgar Allan Poe Deathiversary at the Library is organized by Miami Moviegoers in collaboration with Hexed Miami and honors Edgar Allan Poe's legacy with a screening of The Masque of the Red Death, live readings, and multimedia presentations inspired by his works.
— Pinecrest Zombie Run powered by Baptist Health is a family-friendly event where participants can navigate through the streets of Pinecrest, dodging zombies in a two-mile adventure. The event includes a 40-foot zombie maze, a photo booth, music, games, and refreshments available for purchase. Runners will receive an event t-shirt while supplies last, and are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite costumes. The event is part of the Village of Pinecrest's FitCrest initiative, which promotes health and wellness in the community.
— City of Homestead Fall Festival. This free community event offers a variety of fall-themed activities for all ages, including live entertainment, food vendors, and family-friendly games.
— Trick or Treat Halloween Market at Lincoln's Brewery and Cocktails, organized by Good Vibes Market at Lincoln's Brewery and Cocktails, features a Halloween-themed market with vendors, free candy stations, and spooky fun for all ages. The event runs from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and is family-friendly. Tickets and vendor applications are available via Instagram links.
— Jogos de Travessia / Journey Games by Alice Ricci at Simetria Domestica Space is organized by Simetria Domestica Space in collaboration with Mitre Gallery (SP) and Crudo (ARG), featuring Brazilian artist Alice Ricci's first solo show in Miami. The event presents a series of 24 collages developed since her 100 West Corsicana Artist & Writer Residency. The exhibition runs from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, showcasing contemporary collage works that explore futuristic, layered landscapes. The event is open to all art enthusiasts, with the library space accessible during the show.
—“Ojos Que No Ven” by Ilsse Peredo at homework Gallery presents an immersive exploration of visibility, perception, and cultural interconnectedness. Featuring large-scale photographic sculptures printed on translucent mesh, the works incorporate materials and stories gathered from Mexico, Bhutan, and the Navajo Nation, including marigolds, prayer flags, and desert sage. A tri-cultural altar and spectral banners invite viewers to move behind the pieces, dissolving the boundary between observer and artwork. Drawing on Mexican Catholicism, Indigenous Mesoamerican cosmologies, Bhutanese Buddhism, and Navajo teachings, the exhibition explores coexistence, interconnection, and the consequences of choosing not to see, creating a contemplative and multisensory experience.
