Ángela Leiva conquers the Movistar Arena with a historic sold-out show

Performing a sold-out concert at the Movistar Arena is now a milestone Ángela Leiva can officially cross off her bucket list. On June 18, the Argentine diva took the stage in front of thousands of people for a show that also served as a celebration of her own career.

From “Amor secreto” to “Llamadas extrañas,” the classics hit differently that night. “Esa idiota” and “Mentías” turned the arena into a single voice, with an audience that knew every word and held nothing back.

Among those moments came a tribute to Gilda, an essential figure in Argentine tropical music and one of the artists who shaped the tradition Ángela carries forward, transforming personal stories and raw emotion into songs that have outlasted entire generations. The moment honored a musical tradition built by women who transformed stories and emotions into anthems that have crossed entire generations.

Toward the final part of the concert, the show shifted gears with a segment dedicated to cuarteto. “Amor de mierda,” “Qué quieres de mí,” and “Yo Era” were performed alongside El Chino, a member of Q’ Lokura, in one of the highest-energy moments of the night.

Euge Quevedo also joined her on stage to perform "No podrás" and to debut "Enemigas" live for the first time. The night closed with "Amiga Traidora," and the entire arena sang it back to her word for word, the kind of moment that says everything about what Ángela Leiva has built with her audience over the years.
