A passionate night spirals out of control, white sheets soaked in blood, and a deserted street where uncertainty takes over. These are some of the scenes in the video for “XTC,” the new release from singer, DJ, and artist D’Arcy, who returns with an intense, dance-ready track backed by a world filled with symbolism and chaos.
The singer, who also stars in the video, runs through an empty city and looks at her own bloodstained hands as if she needs to confirm something about herself. The scene can be read as the aftermath of an intense night, when the rush fades and reality hits.

To get there, the short film builds a world of bodies drawn close together and searching gazes. D’Arcy and Katja Golde, who plays her partner, meet between a white bed and a party in an industrial space. In the bedroom, it is just the two of them, alone and immersed in the passion of the moment.
Directed by Genevieve Andrews, with cinematography by Dan Debrey and production by Ilias Kyriakides, the “XTC” video introduces a rupture into that same intimate setting. The disappearances disrupt the bedroom’s logic, turning the familiar into something strange. The confusion remains unresolved, giving the piece an unexpected meaning.

At the center of it all, the song is driven by a dark synth and a heavy bassline, both perfectly suited to getting the party started. Over this foundation, D’Arcy’s vocals remain soft and enveloping, despite the danceable rhythm surrounding them. Sensuality comes through in every line, deliberately woven into a cohesive, polished arrangement.
“XTC” feels like both an extension and a continuation of her experience, now distilled into an intimate and unsettling scene in which two people come together; the night seems to envelop them completely, and suddenly, a blood-soaked scene shatters the illusion of harmony. The beat keeps playing, but intimacy has given way to uncertainty.
