A soft, warm opening unfolds as the brief prelude to an explosion of sound that invites you to dance like no one is watching. We're talking about Emmy Adelle, a Miami-based singer, songwriter, producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist, and her new single “Polaroids.”
The track, born from loose ideas written down in the middle of the night, is deeply influenced by the artist’s talent behind the controls, where she sinks into something close to a trance to create music meant to be heard, danced to, and reflected on.
“‘Polaroids’ is a song that lives in that blurry space between what’s real and what’s in your head. There’s a lyric, ‘I see you every time I close my eyes, are you real?’ and it’s that feeling right before you fall asleep when someone is stuck in your mind and you can’t tell if it’s real or something you’ve created,” she said.
Beyond her ability to shape sound with a synthesizer in hand, Emmy stands out for her warm voice, which she layers, stretches, and distorts with precision, as well as for a growing list of achievements driven by her work as a producer.
Self-taught, with a discipline shaped outside of music as a former Division I hockey prospect, she brings that same precision to every creation. “About U,” one of her most defining singles, surpassed 10 million views on TikTok, placing her on the radar of key names in the electronic scene such as Fisher and Matroda, while also opening the door to Spotify editorial playlists like All New Dance, Emotional Dance, and Crying on the Dance Floor.
In addition, Emmy has supported Levity, Ship Wrek, and Ookay, while continuing to carve her own path with headline performances in key cities like New York and Miami, including sold-out nights at iconic venues like LIV Miami and 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge Rooftop, with Miami remaining a home base she continues to return to and sell out.
At the same time, her studio work connects her with major industry figures, collaborating with engineers who have worked alongside David Guetta, Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Post Malone, and many more.

“Polaroids” settles into that hazy territory where memory, desire, and imagination blur together, all while igniting the dancefloor, a signature that is quickly becoming unmistakably Emmy Adelle. Between new music and a packed tour schedule that includes her festival debut at We Belong Here, Emmy is moving fast and showing no signs of slowing down, with more shows still to come.
