Judy Whitmore presents “The House I Live In” as the focus track from her newly released EP “This Is Home,” a six-song EP created to celebrate America’s 250th birthday through music. The collection brings together beloved American classics reimagined through a deeply personal lens, shaped by Judy’s family history, her connection to the country, and a vision of patriotism rooted in community, memory, and everyday life.

With production and arrangements by Chris Walden, a seven-time GRAMMY®-nominated composer, “This Is Home” was recorded with a 39-piece orchestra that includes musicians affiliated with the Pacific Jazz Orchestra, giving the songs a cinematic and ceremonial quality.

“The House I Live In” revolves around the simple question of what America means. Here, the answer emerges from concrete images of everyday life, such as the house, the street, the workplace, the neighbors, the children in the park, different races and religions, the freedom to speak, and the communities that surround us.
