Multi-platinum producer, remixer, and songwriter Bryan Todd teams up with singer Jason Walker on their new single “Wait.” The track marks Bryan's first producer-led release in nearly a year and hints at the direction of an upcoming body of work focused on artistic integrity, emotional resonance, and lasting value.
“Wait” moves comfortably within pop while drawing from several other influences. Bryan draws on his experience as a remixer and producer to shape an energetic, upbeat track where elements of R&B, urban, and electronic music blend naturally.
At the center of it all is Jason Walker’s voice, warm and expressive, guiding the listener through the song’s emotional core. Lines like “Only you could make me do this / Can we stay here ‘til we lose it / The sun is falling, but I’m not moving / The world keeps spinning around” are delivered with a sense of openness that underscores the track’s reflective tone.
On the production side, Bryan balances polish with momentum, creating a sound that complements Jason’s vocal style. The chemistry between the two artists is clear, particularly knowing that both contributed to the songwriting.
The single is accompanied by a music video directed by Julian Mendoza that brings “Wait” to life. Jason delivers a compelling on-screen performance while Todd appears as a more reserved, almost stoic presence. The visuals lean into the glow of city nightlife, with neon lights and busy streets framing the story.
