— Free Acid featuring Liquid Earth. Electric Pickle and UN_MUTE Events are bringing the night to a secret tropical jungle somewhere in Miami. A goth and darkwave night in Miami with live cirque, fire, and burlesque performances alongside original music acts. — Speaking Art World: Engaging Curators, Gallerists, and other "Gatekeepers" with Laura Burton and Owen Duffy at Oolite Arts. This professional development workshop for artists covers how to communicate effectively with curators, gallerists, and other key figures in the art world, one of the most practically important and least formally taught skills in the field. Led by gallerist Laura Burton, founder of Laura gallery, and Owen Duffy, Nancy C. Allen Curator and Director of Exhibitions at Asia Society Texas, the session draws on years of experience across major art markets, including New York, Houston, and London. Topics include navigating studio visits, pursuing exhibition opportunities, building authentic professional relationships, and understanding what institutions and commercial galleries are actually looking for when they engage with artists. The self-taught Dominican artist brings new material from his latest album, “El Arte de Esperar,” alongside highlights from a deeply personal catalog that has connected with audiences across Latin America and beyond. Known for his confessional songwriting, expressive vocals, and a sound that moves fluidly across folk, pop, and Latin indie, Ferreira has built one of the most loyal followings in the contemporary Latin singer-songwriter space.
