— Speaking Art World: Engaging Curators, Gallerists, and other "Gatekeepers" with Laura Burton and Owen Duffy at Oolite Arts. This professional development workshop for artists covers how to communicate effectively with curators, gallerists, and other key figures in the art world, one of the most practically important and least formally taught skills in the field. Led by gallerist Laura Burton, founder of Laura gallery, and Owen Duffy, Nancy C. Allen Curator and Director of Exhibitions at Asia Society Texas, the session draws on years of experience across major art markets, including New York, Houston, and London.
