— Urban Sketching Session at Hoffman’s Cafeteria, where instructor Will McGaul guides the group through urban plein‑air drawing by breaking down complex scenes into simplified compositions while exploring perspective, proportions, framing, figure inclusion, and media experimentation. Attendees work with wet and dry media, choose between complementary, analogous, or monochromatic color schemes, apply textural techniques such as spattering and scraping, and conclude with a group review of each participant’s work. A sketchbook and marking tools (such as ballpoint, graphite, coloured pencils, Sharpies, acrylic markers, portable watercolors, or pastels) plus a portable seat are required; materials are not provided.
— Berlin to Broadway at Miami Beach Bandshell honours composer Kurt Weill’s journey from 1920s Berlin cabarets to Broadway show‑rooms, featuring more than 40 of his songs with lyrics by collaborators such as Bertolt Brecht, Ira Gershwin, and Alan Jay Lerner. The production brings together four vocalists and a six‑piece instrumental ensemble under the direction of Ricky J. Martinez with music direction by Elaine Rinaldi, and offers a biographical look at Weill’s exile, reinvention, and enduring musical legacy.
— You Know Yoga Ft. Zoë Leiana + Music by You Know Them at ZeyZey. The afternoon begins with a DJ set by You Know Them, followed by a guided yoga session led by Zoë Leiana. After the yoga, the music continues with a second DJ set, while attendees can enjoy craft cocktails, natural wines, and food from onsite vendors like Tacos María.
TUE, NOV 25

— The Kinoplex Presents: King Of New York at Churchill’s.
— We Met At Gramps. Attendees are invited to share personal “meet-cute” moments, first dates, declarations of love, or any memorable experiences tied to Gramps in brief, five-minute stories. The evening is hosted in partnership with We Met in Miami, a nonprofit focused on fighting loneliness and building community. Participants receive wristbands that signal what kind of connection they’re open to—romantic, friendship, or LGBTQIA+
—and there’s a system to help reconnect with people afterward via “Connection Cards” and match-making. The format includes a mingling period, a storytelling “slam,” a group photo, and time to continue socializing.
